World’s Top-Earning Models According to Forbes

The Forbes Magazine released the list of the top earning models in the world. Gisele Bundchen, from Brazil, once again topped the list. She earned $25 million over the period from June 2008 to June 2009. Heidi Klum’s name appeared on the second place; she earned $9 million less than Gisele did.
Kate Moss concluded the top-three leaders. Her total income over the last year was $8.5 million. Sales from Moss’s collection for the Topshop brand contributed significant amount to this sum.
The list of the top 10 earning models, according to Forbes, is as follows:
  1. Gisele Bundchen – $25 million
  2. Heidi Klum – $16 million
  3. Kate Moss – $8.5 million
  4. Adriana Lima – $8 million
  5. Doutzen Kroes – $6 million
  6. Alessandra Ambrosio – $6 million
  7. Natalia Vodianova – $5.5 million
  8. Daria Werbowy – $4.5 million
  9. Miranda Kerr – $3 million
  10. Carolyn Murphy – $3 million.
Unfortunately, this year most models earned noticeably less than they did last year. Gisele Bundchen, for instance, earned $10 million less in comparison to the previous financial year. By the way, according to the recent information from the press, the gossip about the 28-year-old model’s pregnancy tuned out to be groundless. The model’s husband, Tom Brady, rejected the rumors about becoming daddy in the near future.
Interesting enough, Kate Moss was the model who surely was not hit by the financial crisis. She was one of the few models whose income increased by $1 million.

Those who do promotional modeling may not earn as much as the world’s highest paid supermodels, but they earn a decent living nonetheless.
